Notes |
Married:
- The England and Wales Civil Registration Index shows they were married in the quarter ending June 1900. They also appear married in the 1900 U.S. Census taken on 5 June. The census also shows "0" years married. Ellen's entry also shows she is the "mother of one child", and "zero children living" - most likely a reference to the fact that she was pregnant with their daughter Alma.
Betty Howell Traver's corrections to the Clopton Book p. 211 indicate m. "3 April 1900" [4, 5]
