Will of Thomas Howell of Halifax County - dated 30 October, 1777, to wife, Ann Howell L 100 proclamation money, one third of crop of corn now on my plantation, a horse, six plates, six spoons, a basin, various other personalty and live stock, during widowhood - To sons, William and Thomas Howell, remainder of estate, equally, and reversion of requests to their Mother - Witnessed by John Daffin and Patience Pearce - proved by oath of John Daffin and William and Thomas Howell qualified as executors, at November 1777 term of Halifax Court. |
