Deed - Dated 26 February 1743/44 from Samuel Williams of Edgecombe County - to Thomas Howell of Edgecombe County - consideration of L 20 - current money of Virginia - conveying 150 acres of land in Edgecombe County, on west side of Hawtree Creek, being th tract granted to William Alston 21 July 1741 and conveyed to said William by deed from said Alston - witnessed by William Walker and John Clerk - acknowledged by Samuel Williams at may 1744 term of Edgecombe Court.
