- Speculative. My only source for this is the comment in the pace family history.
From Pace family history:
"Patience Pace is named as daughter in the will of Thomas Howell dated 2/10/1794, probated 2/1796 in Halifax Co NC Also the will of George Pace naming sons John (over 21) and William (under 21) was witnessed by Matthew Howell (brother of Patience) on 1/7/1773" [2]

'lend to my wife if she remains unmarried my plantation and one third of the land whereon I now live and the use of the rest of my estate except the rest of my land and 60 pounds.
