Jan McEachran's helpful Burk info.

Burk -> Campbell -> Stone

Jan McEachran provided some insights to the Burk line resulting in a new family tree from Frances Burk to the present

Previously I thought Erastus was the son of David F. Burk, but changed him to be the son of John Burk after receiving the email from Jan, which also matched the information on Peggy Doyle's tree on RootsWeb.

I originally developed the Burk genealogy from a letter written 4 March 1867 by Josia (Jesse) Burk to his nephew David F. Burk. the letter was transcribed by my great grandmother Flora Maude CAMPBELL Stone.

Hi Cousin Maurice!

That is a very interesting connection - So we are 6th Cousins, once removed! The Howell's I have start with the birth of Mckinney Howell in prob. North Carolina then, he migrates to Georgia where he d. in 1781 and where many of his descendants for the next few generations lived.

Can you please clarify for me, what the relationship is between Charles Lincoln m. Elizabeth Bailey to the rest of your Lincoln line?

Also, what city and state/province is Greenwood Cem in?

John
